PDHPS1
£135.00 1mg
YAP signalling pathway inhibitor.
PDHPS1 (peptide deregulated in hypertrophic scar-1) is an endogenous peptide from skin tissue, whose precursor protein is nuclear
mitotic apparatus protein 1 (NUMA1), a protein that plays an essential role in the formation and maintenance of the spindle poles and the alignment and the segregation of chromosomes during mitotic cell division. PDHPS1 binds to protein phosphatase 2 phosphatase activator (PTPA), an essential activator of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A), increasing phosphorylation of the oncogene Yes-associated protein (YAP), further inactivating YAP and suppressing the expression of its downstream target genes. PDHPS1 inhibits the proliferation of ovarian cancer cells in vitro, induces cell apoptosis in ovarian cancer cells and inhibits ovarian tumour growth in a subcutaneous xenograft mouse model.
