Pep2-8
£75.00 1mg
PCSK9 inhibitor.
Pep2-8 is a peptide from a phage library that was identified as the smallest proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9 (PCSK9 inhibitor) with a clearly defined mechanism of inhibition. Pep2-8 binds to PCSK9 with a KD of 0.7 μm but has no affinity for other proprotein convertases. Pep2-8 restores low density lipoprotein (LDL) receptor function and LDL uptake in PCSK9-treated HepG2 cells.
