Chemerin-9
£75.00 1mg
Chemokine-like receptor 1 (CMKLR1) agonist.
Chemerin-9 is a nonapeptide corresponding to amino acids 149-157 of the C terminus of processed chemerin, which retains most of the agonist activity of the full-size protein towards the chemokine-like receptor 1 (CMKLR1) with an EC50 of 7.1 nM. Chemerin-9 significantly suppresses TNF-?-induced mRNA expression of adhesion and pro-inflammatory molecules in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and significantly attenuates TNF-?-induced adhesion of THP1 monocytes and the macrophage inflammatory phenotype. In Apoe -/- mice, a 4-week infusion of chemerin-9 significantly decreases aortic atherosclerotic lesions.
