CXCR4 allosteric agonist.
ATI 2341 is a pepducin targeting the C-X-C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR) at which it is an allosteric agonist with an EC50 of 194 nM. ATI 2341 functions as a biased ligand, favouring Gi activation over G13. In contrast to the natural CXCR4 agonist, stromal cell-derived factor-1, ATI 2341 does not promote ?-arrestin recruitment. ATI 2341 induces chemotaxis in CXCR4 expressing cells in vitro and acts as a functional antagonist to mobilise polymorphonuclear neutrophils and hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells from bone marrow niche in both mice and non-human primates.
